Summary

The Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) trade Association representing drinking water and wastewater technology manufacturers and related services. Formed in 1908, WWEMA has evolved into the respected voice of technology providers in the water and wastewater industry promoting safe drinking water and a clean environment through technological innovation. Our members supply the most sophisticated leading-edge products and technologies, offering solutions to every water-related environmental problem and need facing today’s society.

For more than 100 years, WWEMA has provided a forum where technology and service providers can come together to identify issues of common concern as well as strategies for tackling those issues. The WWEMA umbrella provides a platform for advocacy and influence in the water industry that no one company can achieve on its own. WWEMA’s connections on Capitol Hill, within the Administration, at the state and local levels, and among other water industry organizations ensures members a “seat at the table” when new legislation, regulations, and policies are being developed; and provides members the networks needed to solve company-specific challenges.

Additional Information
