Summary

The American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) is a leading advocate of membrane processes in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. The Association serves as a strong voice for regulatory and legislative reforms essential to the understanding, acceptance and utilization of membrane technologies. AMTA is an affiliate of the International Desalination Association, and is affiliated with the Southeast Desalting Association (SEDA), the South Central Membrane Association (SCMA), Southwest Membrane Operator Association (SWMOA), and Northwest Membrane Operator Association (NWMOA).

Mission:
• To promote, advocate, and advance the understanding and application of membrane technology to create safe, affordable, and reliable water supplies

• To treat municipal, industrial, agricultural, and waste waters for beneficial use

Vision:
• To solve water supply and quality issues through the widespread application of membrane technology

Objective:
• To provide broad opportunities for the exchange of technical, operational and financial information among individuals and organizations interested in membrane technologies.

Division I Membership benefits include:
• Reduced rates for AMTA and IDA sponsored events
• Discounted rates on AMTA publications, advertising and tradeshow exhibit opportunities
• One-hundred words or less description of the company’s profile for inclusion on the website
• AMTA will provide a link from AMTA’s website to the company’s website
• Division 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, and 1E members will receive additional affiliate members with their membership renewal. The designated Division 1 primary member will have discretion upon application and each year at renewal to designate who will receive these additional Division 3C affiliate memberships that are included with their Primary membership. Each Division 1A member will receive 3 additional affiliate members; each 1B, 1D and 1E will receive 2 additional affiliate members, and each 1C will receive 1 additional affiliate member.

Limitations to Division III Membership include:
• No organization recognition in the Membership Directory for 3A Individual members,
• Division 3B are not eligible to vote and will receive “SOLUTIONS” newsletter in electronically format only
• Discounted rates for AMTA and IDA sponsored events and AMTA publications are for individual member only
